Weight Loss Surgery Many Be Associated With Bone Loss

Recent studies have shown that weight loss surgery may affect calcium, vitamin D and bone loss. According to the research of Dr. Shonni J. Silverberg, a professor of medicine at Columbia University college of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, N.Y., and coauthor of the study, analyzed that those who lost more weight during the surgery also lost the most bone. The only way to restore it is by the amount of calcium and vitamin D are increased appropriately. Although, further information are needed to discover the bone quality and fracture risks.

Danny! =D

I am currently a senior in Alhambra Highschool. I decided to take physiology because the counselors this year stuck me in practical geometry. I've taken geometry three times and I am SICK of geometry. The next day, they turned me into a T.A for my practical geometry class. Although, i didn't want to be a teacher's assistant, I wanted to take a class that is carefree and not stressful, but i can learn and have fun at the same time. So physiology was the best choice in terms of a fun class. My interests outside of school are cooking, X-Boxing, and learning more about the world.
